Come be a part of the VSA arts of Washington
Artists Registry! This is an on-line service
for artists with disabilities of any age who are dedicated
to their artistic growth.
For emerging artists, the Artists Registry will help
you funnel your creative energy into taking the next
step for your artistic career. Your presence on the
world-wide-web will connect you to a global arts community.
For established artists, the Artists Registry
will serve to help build your audience
in leading cultural venues through the VSA arts of Washington
network. The Artists Registry will open doors to the
breadth of VSA arts of Washingtons exhibit, performance,
and education opportunities.
The Artists Registry is the primary source for
selecting artists to participate in VSA arts of Washington
programs and events.
The VSA arts of Washington Artists Registry is
also a valuable resource for professionals interested
in locating talented artists with disabilities. As an
Artists Registry member, you will:
- Have
your own page on the VSA arts of Washington website
at www.vsaaw.org
to advertise your work, including samples of work,
contact information, a biography, artist statement,
headshot, and quote;
- Be
first for consideration for the VSA arts of Washington
annual calendar of art exhibits, performances, and
education opportunities;
- Provide you with guaranteed placement in upcoming professional development classes (classes will be offered for a fee);
- Be
connected to a support network of other artists
with disabilities and arts/disability organizations;
and
- Serve
as an inspirational role model for emerging artists
and the general public.
To apply:
Submit the following materials:

Samples of Artwork/ Work: 1-4 Slides or Digital
Images (JPEG 72 dpi). E-mail separate files to gallery@vsaaw.org.
Images will be posted at the discretion of VSA arts
of Washington.
- Artwork/
Work Description Sheet: List of image descriptions,
numbering each image. For each entry list the Artists
name, Date of Work, Media or Genre, and Dimensions
(H x W x D) if applicable.
- Artist
Statement & Biography: 200 words or less on
important facts about the artists life, including
artists view of their work, influences, and
inspiration.
- Contact
Information: Artist or Group Name; Mailing Address;
E-mail; Website;
- Telephone
Number; and booking information (if applicable).
- Headshot
(Optional): Slide or 72dpi digital file in JPEG.
- Personal
Quote (Optional): Short quote for online presentation.
- Release
Agreement: Download below.
- Fee*:
