Arts in Education ( Pre K - 12 )
VSA arts of Washington (VSAAW) offers a number of programs which promote the use of the arts in the education of children with disabilities from pre-school through high school. These include: direct services for children at special events and in classrooms, training opportunities for teachers, artists, and parents, and curriculum guides for preschool and elementary teachers.

Community Art Classes, Open Studio & Exhibits

Participating in the arts increases artistic skills, self esteem, and quality of life. VSAAW’s Adult Programs offer inclusive, community-based art classes and shared studio space, solo and group exhibits, and other avenues for professional development.

Access Services
To support access to the arts for people with disabilities throughout the state of Washington, VSA arts of Washington publishes print and online versions of arts access documents, maintains a database of arts and disabilities resources, and trains and manages volunteer Cultural Access Program Surveyors to provide access surveys for arts organizations in their communities.
