"Art has always been my life - it did become an "after-work" activity when I married and began rasing a family in the 1980's. I do not think of myself as damaged property, but I do have the disability of Juvenile Brittle Diabetes that has been a difficulty in my life since very young. A difficulty is something that you deal with, and then proceed on with life anyhow. I learned to live with it and concentrated on cultivating the assets I have. I come from a mixed cultural background, being born in Colorado and moving to Hawaii in the fourth grade (1960's-90's). My art continues to show the brighter colors that you see growing up in the tropics. People ask what is the most important measure of my success as an artist? Insuring an observer will not walk by unaffected by my art is everything to me."

Participating Artists: Debra Adair, Giel Ahn, Elizabeth Anderson, Maureen Brogan, Jean Cavanaugh, Earl Debnam, Carol Edson, Leslee Fansler, Cynthia Flowers, Andy Frank, Jessica Geiger, Matt Goad, Sally Grant, Morgan Johnson, d'Elaine Johnson, Michael Jones, Carl Kinney, Ricky Lazaga, Russell Martin, Ryo Mastrogiovanni, Cate McKee, Nora Nur~Art, Sue Owens, Doug Query, W.
